A Short Code is an abbreviated phone number - which in our case, is a short, six-digit mobile number - that requires no area code and works anywhere in the U.S. You've probably seen TV and print ads asking people to "Just text OUR KEYWORD to 368674 to join and receive..." This six-digit number is known as a Short Code. Although short codes have several applications — from opinion polling to subscription opt-in — it is a great tool for requesting and displaying on-demand information.
No. The DotCom, DotNet, and DotOrg short codes work only within the Continental United States, Hawaii, Alaska, US Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico

It is an all-inclusive package that we provide to individuals and businesses who wish to offer auto-response mobile advertising service to others. It is a highly specialized, private-labeled service for anyone who wants to market Mobile Bounce Ads on a local or national level. The reseller system doesn't necessarily have to be resold either it may be a client that wishes to utilize the power of multiple adnames on their specified domain.
To request and receive a Bounce Ad, people must send a simple text message containing the OPT-IN CODE and the KEYWORD that identifies the Advertiser whose information they wish to receive. Example: If the Opt-in Code is TEXTCO and the Advertiser's keyword is JOESBAR, then the consumer must text the words TEXTCO JOESBAR to your designated short code number.
The OPT-IN CODE is the same as the DOMAIN NAME of the business that is offering the Bounce Ad service. If you want to offer Mobile Bounce Ad service to others, you need a Domain Name that will serve as your own unique Opt-in Code. Your Opt-in Code is the FIRST word that consumers must text in order to receive a Bounce Ad.
A Keyword is the word or name that an Advertiser chooses to specifically and uniquely identify itself to the general public. Each of your Advertising Clients will have their own unique Keyword. Their keyword is the SECOND word that consumers must text in order to receive a Bounce Ad.
Yes. From your cell phone, you can text the words TEXTCO JOESBAR and send to 368674 (DOTORG) to receive a bounce-back advertising text message that informs you of Joe's Bar's location and happy hour specials, along with a 'Free Drink' offer from Joe's Bar.

The "Broadcast Reseller System" is designed for entrepreneurs seeking to start their own mobile advertising business. It is an all-inclusive service package that we provide to individuals and businesses who wish to offer mobile text broadcast service to others. It is a highly specialized, private-labeled service that will enable you to start a mobile advertising business on a local or national level. Like the Bounce Ad Reseller package the TextCo client may want to utilize the power of multiple keywords on their specified domain.
A Mobile Subscriber — also referred to as "Recipient" — is a person who opted-in or signed up to receive text messages from a specific Advertiser. Each individual Advertiser has their own Subscribers to which they can broadcast mobile text messages.
To avoid confusion in the subscription process, consumers are required to text the TWO WORDS (the OPT-IN CODE and the KEYWORD) that identify the Advertiser to which they wish to subscribe. Example: If the Opt-in Code is TEXTCO and the Advertiser's keyword is JOESBAR, then the consumer must text the words TEXTCO JOESBAR to 368674 (because TEXTCO is a dotorg) to subscribe to this specific Advertiser.
The OPT-IN CODE is the same as the DOMAIN NAME of the business that is offering the mobile text broadcast service. As a Reseller offering Mobile Text Broadcast service, you will need to have your own domain name which will also serve as your official Mobile Opt-in Code. Your Opt-in Code is the FIRST word that consumers type when subscribing to your Advertisers' mobile campaigns.
A Keyword is the word or name that an Advertiser chooses to specifically and uniquely identify itself to its subscribers. Each of your Advertising Clients will have their own unique Keyword. Their keyword is the SECOND word that consumers type when subscribing to a specific Advertiser.
To subscribe, people simply send a text message - from their cell phone - to your designated short code number, specifying the OPT-IN CODE and KEYWORD that identify a specific Advertiser. Therefore, using the example above, if someone wants to subscribe to JOESBAR, they have to text the words TEXTCO JOESBAR and send the text to YOUR designated short code number.
Your designated short code number depends on the Domain Name that you use as your official Opt-in Code. If your Domain Name is a DOTCOM, your designated short code number would be 368266 (which if you look at a cellphone keypad, spells dotcom). If your Domain Name is a DOTNET, then your designated short code is 368638. And if your Domain Name is a DOTORG, your designated short code 368674.
When people send a text message (the Opt-in Code and the Keyword) to the designated short code number, they should automatically receive a reply requesting that they verify their intention to subscribe. Once verified, they should receive a second message which will require them to reply the word "YES" to confirm their subscription. After that, the consumer is officially subscribed. The entire process may take two to three minutes to complete.
Yes. From your cell phone, you can text the words MOB7 TRAVEL and send to 368266 (DOTCOM) to subscribe to a special service that will send you "alert" text messages whenever there are special, heavily-discounted deals on airfares, hotels, and cruises.
There are two ways to unsubscribe: (A) Send a text message that says "STOP" along with the Opt-in Code and Keyword, or (B) After receiving a text broadcast, reply to the message with the word "STOP" to automatically unsubscribe.
